Your 15 minute silent focus sprint

Here’s how it works. A short period of silence lowers cognitive load and helps your brain process information more deeply. You can measure the improvement by timing how quickly you recall what you studied.

Set a timer for 15 minutes. Work in complete silence for the first 7 minutes while you review your material. Then spend 5 minutes writing a summary from memory. Use the last 3 minutes to check what you remembered and see where gaps are. (1/2)

For even deeper focus, try box breathing. Inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 4, exhale for 4, hold for 4.

You’ll notice your recall gets sharper and your mind feels less tired. This makes your next study session more effective right away.
