Out of the top 200 cable programs last week, only 5 of the shows were non-sports or non-news. Literally, only 5.

@mattsheffield I'm not surprised cable viewership is plummeting, because I can't find anything to watch when I visit my mother's. The old joke of "1000 channels and nothing's on" is now literally true. Granted, I'm picky about video entertainment but 20 years ago I could watch Discovery, History, and nature channels all day.
@CurtAdams Yeah they've all retreated to cheap "reality" television shows that are repetitive and stupid. Or they all have their own shows that are more profitable for the channels but are just pretty mediocre.
