I know that I have nothing particularly clever or fresh to say about how to facilitate an online community. You were doing it long enough to have heard it all. I think you were the first person to invite me to Mastodon more than a decade ago.

I am not trying to convince you of anything. I was just sharing a reflection on your comment because an appeal meant to inform your network before unexpectedly unfollowing people who you respect is not how I read your post.
