Forcing software engineers to use LLMs is like forcing chefs to use microwaves.
It may be faster, but are you a fast food restaurant, and if so, why did you even hire a chef?

@lapcatsoftware The answer most business-solutions software houses will give you, metaphorically speaking, is "If we can be," and "Because microwaves didn't exist yet so chefs were the only option."
Your metaphor actually says quite a bit; I'm going to try to hold it in my brain. Because we are now entering an ecosystem where "restaurants" will be competing with "fast food companies" (or, possibly, self-service: why does the business owner need a third-party if they can vibe-code an inventory tracking database or timecard system? I don't like heating up a burrito ensconced in an ice block in my freezer, but I do keep a couple for those days when I'm really strapped for time and didn't plan ahead.)
