@dialancea By the way, since you prefer BlueSky there is a service that allows you to see posts from people on the Fediverse that you follow and vice-versa.

It is called Bridgy. Here is how you can use it:

@dialancea There are a few limitations and disclaimers though:

1) If you retweet (or whatever BlueSky calls it) something people on Mastodon won't be able to see it. Same if people on Mastodon boost it.

2) I believe this is a project run by one guy, or maybe a few people. That means if they get hit by a bus and dies the project dies with them. Same thing if they decide to do something better with their time or some similar reason.

3) Not sure how DMs work, if at all.

@dialancea Anyway, it is just a suggestion since you seem to prefer BlueSky.

If you like the idea and are having any trouble getting this to work let me know and I will try to help.

@rakuno Ooooh that's quite cool!

@dialancea Yeah. I am using it to keep in touch with a friend that decided to move to Blue Sky when Twitter went to hell.

So I know it actually works and thought it might interest you too.

@rakuno Nice! I'll give it a go =D
@dialancea Ok! If you have any trouble let me know.
@rakuno For some reason its saying my handle isnt valid lol
@dialancea When is it saying that? When you are trying to follow the @ap.brid.gy account on Blue Sky?
@rakuno oh you gotta follow the account?

@dialancea Yes. Follow that account first on Blue Sky.

After that you can follow me on gamepad.club/@rakuno

@rakuno On the bridgy site?

@dialancea Hm. I think you can do it on Blue Sky like if it was a normal account?

If that doesn't work I can try to follow your Blue Sky account from here if you don't mind sharing it.

@rakuno Sure! It's @dialancea.bsky.social
@dialancea Ok. I think I followed your Blue Sky account and sent a test message.
@rakuno Sent a message!
@dialancea @rakuno Hope you got it all working.
@saja0486 @dialancea Yep, we did!
@rakuno @dialancea Great! I think I got it setup from this account to talk as well now too.
@saja0486 @dialancea Nice! It is surprisingly painless for us users considering how tricky it might have been for the developer to do it.
