I recall first hand from a news desk I worked how a no-nonsense Canadian BP restrained a weed-smoking air base driver from a potential international crisis. Kid mistakenly drove a missile over the border instead of to a nearby US silo. BP required top brass of the world’s fourth largest nuke site come get their smoke/dazed fool. (Drivers aren’t told if the black cones are loaded or not)
