@geist 🥳Keine Ahnung, um was es eigentlich geht, ich kenne „Solar Punk“ nur als Marketingbegriff in der Literatur bzw. im Verlagswesen. Die Vertriebe haben sich mal diese "Punks" ausgedacht - weil: "❤️Hach! so subversiv."

In Cyber-, Steam-, Diesel- … wird nicht selten eine problematische konservativ‑reaktionäre Haltung obfuskiert (Diesel -> Rüstungsfetisch, Steam-> Viktoriakult usw.).😎

Dazu zähle ich auch SolarPunk, denn es liegt m.E. bedrohlich nahe an den Tradwife- bzw. Anastasia-Idealen.🤘

@gr3yg00 @geist 🤓Firstly, I don't think so. Secondly, this would make an excellent topic for a bachelor's or doctoral thesis. Clearly, no research has been conducted on this subject so far. I only have anecdotal evidence. 🤔

Marketing departments came up with this term, which makes me very suspicious in itself. 🖖

I know that it originates in literature, but it seems to have started a life on its own by now, as memes do, I only know it from nerds that build renewable powered stuff. They see it as a vision from all I can tell.
