Help. Boosts appreciated.

I made myself 2 braids on hair bobbles. The plan was to tie my hair in pigtails with them, then wrap my own hair round the bobbles to hide the join.

Problem: they are super heavy which means they sag and pull. I cannot figure out how/where to put pins to hold the weight.

Suggestions?

@Affienia Kind of different situation here - I have dreads - but I tie them up into a queue using two of the stands, but from underneath (on my neck line) rather than on top because that stops them pulling and overstimulating my scalp. I put in a twist on top, wrap around downwards, twist again and repeat. Also do the same to make a bun when I need my dreads or off the way and it never feels too heavy or pulls too much. Hope that helps.

@Affienia don’t just use pins. Add a piece of embroidery floss that matches your hair and tie the braids together with enough floss to go over your scalp and help distribute the weight.
