@astro Yes and no. Those protocols are good for realtime comms, one-on-one or few-on-few. When it comes to modern broadcast and audience engagement, ActivityPub is the more appropriate choice.

Certainly, when I have small detailed conversations, XMPP is what I prefer.

@steve You might want to change your website's header and footer to point to your fedi account instead of your closed Twitter account?
@vidyasagar Sure. It is a slow and painful process of finding every tiny place where that old info is still lurking. That is one of the consequences of so many years spent on those once-popular platforms.
