TONIGHT on Heroes of New Halcyon, starring the Mythic Six, as part of the #MMRPG!

There's no rest for our heroes as the Mythic Six are called into act in response to a jewelry store robbery! After being cornered, the robbers, members of a recently-established group of criminals known as The Pinstripe Gang (complete with 1920s fashion, tommy guns, and verbal tics), the gangsters hijacked a nearby ambulance and ejected not only the paramedics, but some poor guy who had to be en route to (...)

the hospital! What a buncha joiks!

The Mythic Six sprung into action immediately! Giving chase, the heroes did their thing. Spotlight and Vega taking flight, Riven using Telekinesis to slow the vehicle down, DangerMan using fancy driving, and White Knight and Great Caesar's Ghost would be ready to spring into action once the DangerMobile got close enough.

Eventually, SpotLight got under the ambulance, with only some poor guy's cabbage cart as a sacrifice (and a few parked vehicles), (...)

and she shook the confrontation into actual combat!

While the Pinstripe Gang hit a little harder than the mooks from before, they also have nothing in terms of defenses, and the heroes got to show their stuff. White Knight threw his weight around, Vega smashed her hand through the windshield and threw the leader to the ground while GCG phased through the ambulance and landed on one of the gangster's lap! Riven fired her fire bolts, Danger Man swung around and did what a not-spider can. (...)

Spotlight grabbed and slammed. Overall, the heroes were too much for the mobsters and were able to subdue them, KOing four and making the other four surrender, ending wiht Spotlight slamming one on top of the other like a flail!

As the fight came to an end, and the mooks were being interrogated, the heroes found a bag full of cheaper gems... and a mysterious USB drive inside.

Linda Lang, a new reporter for the New Halcyon Chronicle, hoping to get the scoop before Gyro Jimmy beats her (...)

to it, interviews the Mythic Six and seems to make a good impression on White Knight, if you know what I mean. ;)

Unfortunately, he also gets nervous and tries to convince her he's the ORIGINAL White Knight! It goes about as hilariously as you expect. ;)

Commissioner Stern shows up and reveals that the Pinstripe Gang are actually fairly recent, but the revelation of their connection to the Swashbucklers is surprising, especially for Ebony Wings, who shows up and finally introduces (...)

herself!

Also, my table? Quite good at the Spider-Man-style humor. "Hawkgirl! Ravengirl! The Hawkgirl at home!" Jokes aside, Ebony politely introduces herself, apologizing for not having met the heroes earlier, but, she's a busy lady! However, she's interested in solving this issue with the Swashbucklers, and volunteers the Mythic Six (softly) into helping her. She does directly ask them first, of course.

A note they pick up on, though, is that there seems to be something going on (...)

between her and Crosshair. She seems distracted when he's brought up. Hmmmm!

Nevertheless, learning about the USB drive, it ends up in Stern's possession where the boys downtown will try to figure it out and pass along the info to Ebony, who'll pass it along to the Mythic Six, who'll secretly pass it on to Linda Lang. As Linda tries to leave, ehr moped breaks down. DangerMan, being a nice gearhead, fixes it for her with a good roll, rewarding him with a kiss on the cheek from Linda, (...)

much to White Knight's chagrin. ^^;

Heading back to the Firehouse (not the Lighthouse) to rest up and repair White Knight's armor and pride, they get two pieces of mail. One from Thunder Mask, suggesting they get the same anti-Overdrive safeguards for the DangerMobile like they gave the Alpha Cruiser. The next letter came from Fight Girl, RSVPing for a sparring session with Spotlight!

After figuring out exactly where they can meet her, thanks to Alpha Sentai (Iiiiit's SEN-TIME!), the (...)

heroes make it out to the coastline (sans White Knight, who went home to spend time with the folks, but would watch the spar on stream), not only was the crowd gathering, but Alpha Sentai himself, Bobby Blane (whom, by the way, drove the guy in the ambulance to the hospital himself. He IS a hero!). Blane said that Fight Girl was always someone who fought above her weight class, but also always seemed distracted. Hmmm... character story!

Spotlight, though assuming she's going to lose, (...)

is eager to show Fight Girl her stuff, and Fight Girl, for all the hang-ups of the museum incident before, looks like she's ready to let off some steam... LOOK OUT, SPOTLIGHT!! D:

(Though, it should be a good match-up, tbh. ;) )

We return to New Halcyon next week!
