@ErikUden @vanaken @inesschwerdtner The German left party and its leadership has long been complicit in the silencing of protest and critical voices in its own rows. This happened still up until a very short timae ago, like half a year or a year ago. There is really zero glory in them organizing, and parricipating in this. This is the first (!) a bit larger protest march in #GenocideGermany nearly two years into a brutal slaugtering. From a non-German perspective: Laughable.

Now that the tides are finally turning against Israel, now that hundreds of thousands of Palestinians are dead, these politicians want to be on the right side of history. A disgrace, it's cheap. Nothing about you, @ErikUden, you were outspoken early on against the genocide, and props to anyone who was on the street yesterday but not to the leadership of @dielinke.

Respect for other left parties who called the genocide by its name early on and whose members got the full broadside of German repression, like @mera25 and Melanie Schweizer, who in return got fired from her job and got a tabloid hate campaign (Bild) for not wanting to be complicit.
I have documented the absolute failure of German politics in protecting Palestinian life for nearly a year now under the hashtag
#GermanyGazaShitshow.
