✨ Wipr 2 is 40% off today only! ✨

I’d say “snatch it now” but it looks like you’ve noticed 😅

Enjoy! 💜

@mipstian Kaylee, Wipr2 is soooo good. I’m blown away. Thank you for building it.
Now I just have to figure out how to deploy the Safari config via MDM.
@macmsp I wouldn’t know how to do that, but I believe in you!

@mipstian Small followup here 160 days later 😬
It's easy to buy Wipr on Apple Business Manager and then push install to managed devices. On a Mac, Safari then presents a banner inviting the user to activate in Preferences. Nice!

For hands-off managed activation, though: that is up to the MDM to push a declarative device management profile https://developer.apple.com/documentation/devicemanagement/safariextensionsettings - one for each appex, to enforce activation and configuration. That's where I got blocked and I'm pretty sure it's my MDM vendor's fault. I'm talking with them about it.

Anyhow, thought you might enjoy hearing about mass purchase and deployment of your app.

@macmsp the safari banner however, is wrong 🤡 here are the correct instructions to enable it: https://kaylees.site/wipr-help.html#how-do-i-enable-wipr

I also think I’ll need to make the app do the activation automatically somehow, which I imagine is simple but I’m not familiar with this stuff.
