I'd love to believe this, but the study fails to control for obvious confounding variables, particularly prior academic achievement. Once again, I am begging my fellow STEMMies: if you're going to dip a toe in social science research, get an actual social scientist on your team - or at least make sure that, at some point in your life, you've talked to an actual social scientist.
