Quite amused at the attempt to get me to accept a way-over-the-top stereotypically-"woke" edit to the open letter that's quite obviously been rewritten by ChatGPT. At least it's more creative than most of the lazy and predictable abuse so far.

@Floppy I saw the PR was closed, so I’m following up here. I drafted those edits myself. I used a new account to participate for safety—avoiding potential harassment on my work GitHub for obvious reasons.

I reached out to collaborate, and proposed minimal edits to make the language more inclusive of all peoples.

I ask that anonymity for safety not be treated as bad faith. Some of us don’t come from a place of privilege and financial stability.

@talanbb if that’s true then I apologise, but I’m afraid I have to be paranoid and not play into the hands of those who would write this off as (in their words) woke-gone-mad.

You found my email, so if you want you can reach out to me privately from your real accounts so I can be sure this isn’t an attack.

Also, I’ll ask others for more opinions on the PR next week, maybe they can help me determine if I’m wrong.

@jakelazaroff haha, that person tried to sabotage the letter by ChatGPTing it into hyper-over-the-top nonsense. It was actually one of the more creative attempts to subvert it, I’m kinda disappointed they’ve reverted to standard name calling after I saw right through them.
