This is the first I’ve heard of this project. I’m so excited! I always disliked how the films adapted the books in release order. Quite frankly, I find The Magicians Nephew, A Horse and His Boy, and The Silver Chair consistently more interesting than the Pevensie’s chronicles.
Same here, all of the most interesting stuff somehow never makes it onto film. I think The Silver Chair did get produced in the BBC (?) miniseries ages ago…
Justice for Puddleglum

Would love to see an A Horse and His Boy adaptation.

I’m not religious anymore but still use the analogy of doing good in the name of Satan Tash is still doing good and doing horrible things in the name of God Aslan is still doing horrible things. Cough cough responding to a war crime with an even bigger war crime in Gaza cough cough

All 3 non-Pevensie books are fucking wild, but that one tops it.

It almost feels more like a Biblical story than all the others. I mean, it’s entirely in Calormen. Shasta gets sold by his adoptive dad at the beginning! Brutal and insane, just like my other favorite: The Silver Chair.
