The thing to bear in mind with any centralised biometric ID system in the UK is:

1) Do you really want palantir (Peter Thiel) whose secondary market is insurance to get their grubby paws on it?

2) Do you want Farage and his group of nerdowells to get their grubby paws on it?

3) Bad actors including The US and criminals around the world?

They aren't qualified to handle that data.

@onepict it amazes me how Palantir company branding is over the top "we are the evil guys". It's the real life equivalent of "They literally call themselves Decepticons... That doesn't set off any red flags?"

@michal_kucharczyk @onepict Amazon tried the whole “don’t be evil” thing. The profits went up, yeah, but then they leveled off. Obviously a failed model, time to go the other way.
