@wendynather @catsalad Very common in France and Japan for example. Flushing WCs do spray faecal matter. That is why the current UK water regs prohibit putting the WC next to the bath.

Many countries, such as France, believe spraying faecal matter near where your toothbrush lives is disgusting.

@mossman @baoigheallain @catsalad Yes, but it was around the corner behind the hotel room door, which swung open to cover it when I came in. Like I said, it’s not fair when you’re jet-lagged
