As expected, doing weeding has meant my back hurts.
Eep.
Let me start up #Barkscrolling for ya
(edit: it already has posts? Nice!)
And some paperbark
Putting together my own LLM dataset(s) has been verrrry educational in a lot of directions.
First, the importance of not letting anything time sensitive in (X tv show is on now, Y thing just happened, even things like 'you can buy Z for $4') - this is waaaay more pervasive than you might expect.
Also: 700+ mb of raw text, all in one file?
Fuuuuuuuuuck thaaaaaaaaat
@DarkestKale backs are the worst. Such drama queens.
"You slept, I hurt now."
"You lifted wrong, I hurt now."
"You bent over, I hurt now."
"You turned around, I hurt now."
HOW DO YOU TURN AROUND WRONG SPINE-O, WTF DO YOU WANT FROM ME
@RogerBW @shimminbeg Heh.
We have a guy at work - started with us maybe six years back. He's a skateboarder.
Kept saying how it was fine he broke bones, hurt himself, etc as it wasn't too big of a deal
Kale (at the time): oh, boy, you are gonna learrrrrrrrn
The other day, he came to me and said 'yeah, you were right, I have all these random aches now'
@RogerBW @shimminbeg I still remember working with a guy - in his fifties - who'd had two knee recons.
... and he wanted to keep running/swimming at lifeguard levels, and he kept ranting about 'doctors won't tell you about...', and... my dude, a knee recon's about getting you walking again, not making you able to be an athlete.
Speaking from the same 50s locale, my back is fine, my knee is blown.
However I do have a walking cane with a skull head, so there are benefits
I haven't earned XP in years, all my points are now from DNPCs and debilitating injuries.
Ah no... a fetch quest.. .boooo
