@wendynather It's a French thing. They do/ did it a lot in the 90s when they built millions of ski resort appartments. That way, you can get a whole family through their morning ablutions in no time without requiring more than one toilet, one shower and 2 sinks (1 in the bathroom and 1 in the kitchen). Very efficient and I kind of salute them for the idea.
