You can personally help get a resolution against #ChatControl brought before parliament. We’re almost there. At the time of typing, 49.937 people have signed the Citizen’s Proposal (Borgerforslag) against #ChatControl. At 50.000 signatures, Folketinget (parliament) must debate it.

@CiaraNi Yes! It feels like a blunder, that it wasn’t done, when they resurfaced the street, considering what is happening elsewhere in the city. Because the traffic is honestly ridiculous right now, with pedestrians treating it like a pedestrian street, large trucks stopping in the middle, blocking other cars, and cars driving on the sidewalk to avoid the trucks.

@nerdd Enig! It's so close to being an excellent street now, almost there. I often forget it's not already just a bike and pedestrian street, though - I am one of those who mostly just walk or ride down the middle, treating it as a 'yes, I do own the road' street.

@CiaraNi My municipal democratic exercise is done once every four years. You may say that in between I have employed a city council to vote for me. I don't want a Swiss system of referenda about everything, or an ancient Greek system of who yells the loudest gets their way. If I don't like their decisions, I vote for somebody else the next time.
