@bsmall2 ooh, the bus looks like so much fun! And is that pizza dough?
Yes.. The sweet lana8 couple does a whole food cafe, and they serve good food at booths at a variety of fun events too. One of the people at this gathering said they use rice flour. The kids seemed to have a great time choosing and placing toppings for the pizza. It tasted great too! I've seen IG posts that they do workshops for families.. If I can avoid naming and liking the Turkey too much it might be great for gatherings if I can get a brick wood-fire oven with a big enough door for turkey... The ovens aren't very big here. The guy down the road that raises turkeys as a hobby is the one who told me about the place to get fertilized eggs. I think it was him, and maybe another guy too, that said they eat the turkey meat raw, like sashimi fish... But the nice woman from the Philliines who had the idea for the beef thigh on a spit, and who braved the firepit heat to keep the thigh covered in salt, garlicn and rosemary, she was saying something about stuffing the turkey with lemon grass... It would be fascinating to get some sort of multicultural feast going with the wood and the turkey I've sourced myself...
@bsmall2 I'm sure it would be fabulous, home-grown food is always so much better. And lemongrass in the filling sounds intriguing. We don't have much of a turkey culture over here either. I'm sure I couldn't fit one in my oven. Large ducks are already a challenge...
