@kennergf @gabriel To be fair, economies aren't sustained by the mere existence of money, but by money moving through them. That said, this kind of deal is clearly unhealthy as it kinda creates its own tiny economy, separate from the primary. It's a bit like how the occasional first-cousin marriage isn't too bad, but if you make a habit of it, then the isolated gene pool becomes stagnant and fetid.
