#WTF dette var jeg ikke klar over. #EU kjøper flytende russisk gass for store summer. Vel her har #Trump rett. Dette må man stoppe. Bygge ut #fornybart på lang sikt og kjøpe gass andre steder på kort sikt.

Europe can't build renewables fast enough, and I mean that in a rather literal sense. When Russia invaded Ukraine, European gas prices went through the roof - and European electorates also went through the roof. No politician is willing to go through that a second time. Especially as the clean energy infrastructure is not there to provide the juice.

(Yeah, they could redirect the €€€ from fossil fuel subsidies to renewables. But the lobbies).

@CelloMomOnCars Yes, that's why I say renewable in the long term. Also in the short term building renewable is heavily depending on China.

You did say so.
Europe needs to start building its own stuff pronto, from digital to energy to essential products.

At least Germany's huge infrastructure package includes climate-related infrastructure. It can't be built soon enough.

I'm afraid that "buy gas elsewhere" means the building of EACOP and importing LNG from the US (more offshoring).
