There's a cool-sounding app for runners. Free to try, great reviews, everything. I grabbed it. You all know where this is going... I'm stuck on the screen where I have to select my birthday because the UI isn't accessible. It won't even work with screen recognition. Did Apple's magical accessibility label in the App Store help? Nope, it just said the developer hadn't indicated support. If the labels are self-reporting, what good are they? Anyway, I'm back to hating being blind for today.
The running app is called Runna. The company responded to my Reddit post. They said that they know the app isn't accessible, but they plan to add VoiceOver support... Over the next year. When I pointed out how not cool that response was, they said they'd see if there were any "quick wins" they could knock out. Here's the conversation. https://www.reddit.com/r/runna/comments/1nnx3rw/accessibility_of_runna_on_ios_for_visually/
