Dave NanianWolf Alice - The Clearing
Wolf Alice shifts to a major label (Columbia) after a few on Dirty Hit, and feels a little like they're reaching for popularity.
Which I don't mean as a dig, exactly: it's just quite a different sound than you might expect, given the previous albums (no one will mistake *this* for shoegaze). But it's executed with skill and the expected drama.
