To fix this system, Yanis Varoufakis champions social dividends from natural & publicly created wealth. He named 3 ways:
1. Dividend from global platforms produced by network effects - Nope. Meta, Google and Uber will never pay us for our personal data.
2. Tax on things that harm the commons (e.g. CO2 emitting) - Also no, corporations are not paying taxes!
3. Capturing value from money creation. Private banks have been creating money out of thin air. - HERE IS THE ANSWER! FUCK THE BANKERS!
We can create money too! A social dollar!
Imagine you spent $10 and labor to make a knife and sell it for 20 Circles. Imagine others similarly sell their work for Circles.
Now imagine the whole community grew potatoes and sold to the next town for $600 and that $600 goes into the community chest.

Personally, I want to do something about all the unpaid care work women do everyday. Due to health issues in the family, I've been a stay home dad to my kids, so this is an issue that I can understand.

Here's an idea. How about we pay women for their unpaid work? And let's face it, let's not undervalue it and pay their true value!
Bankers in the current system will never do that. We'll need to build a new system, and Circles could be just the tool for it!
