Whenever we have friends visiting from overseas into Australia, they always ask us about the fearsome wildlife such as the crocodiles and the black and brown snakes and the white pointer sharks and the blue bottle jellyfish and the Irukandji and the box jellyfish and the funnel web and redback spiders and the stonefish and more.

But we #Aussies shrug all of that off because we know that all of those threats pale into insignificance compared to being attacked by a #magpie protecting its territory during mating season.

Nonetheless, we love those monsters.
