He’s clearly arguing that transpeople would be more persecuted in Gaza than the United States.
It doesn’t make sense for them to support Gaza where they will likely be stoned to death for being trans while hating on the United States that doesn’t make it illegal to “misgender” them.
Forgive my french but that’s a fucking insane way to look at things - which might be why I was having trouble with it. There is an active genocide being committed, I don’t care if the people getting killed are transphobic.
The part that conservatives don’t seem to understand is that empathy goes all ways. People who haven’t done anything wrong are being killed because they’re brown and the white world is placing more important on the Jewish nation that displaced them to begin with. We’re discussing about trans people having a problem with this. Everyone should have a problem with this! Would a gay person in 1943 not have a problem with the Holocaust because some Jews might be homophobic? What’s the point being made?
