This plant with big white flower is especially enlivening.. A couple weeks ago a neighbor girl on a bike yanked off the first two flowers and maybe tried to feed the petals to Maron. I was disappointed but as long as she doesn't try to take of Maron's head she's free to work out her issue with the flowers. It was lucky that I just left the plant stalk there in memory of those flowers in full bloom. I learned that these plants can put out more flowers. Another model to live by, you get a few blooms knocked off but you can just keep blooming over and over again. I should find a way to make Tubthumping by Chumbawamba as part of the soundtrack for these photos! 🤣 "I get knocked(yanked) down(off) I get(bloom) up again, nothing's gonna keep me down(bare)..."
