@ginaintheburg I suggest @tails_live / @tails / #Tail because it's preconfigured with ease of use in mind and avoids a ton of pitfalls for beginners who whant to use @torproject / #Tor.
- As for @cryptoparty / @cryptoparty / #CryptoParty, it's sorta-thing to connect with folks to get some basic hands-on experience...

After all I think it's one's moral duty to show people the direction to look for resources.
- And manually setting up #Tor outside the #TorBrowserBundle is something even @torproject strongly disrecommends unless you know exactly what you do!
Which is obviously not the case based off the questions asked.
@ginaintheburg as for #BonaFide #OnionService domains, @alecmuffett ¹ and I ² each maintain lists of sites you can visit right now on #Tor.
