Anybody know if Tor is still considered a strong alternative to Google & Chrome?
Or if Thunderbird is a recommended alternative to Gmail & Outlook?
Asking for a friend. :)

Why would you think that was a shit post? I'm no techie, so I need to ask others for help on that kind of stuff, that's all.
@ginaintheburg I wasn't shure re: that and I don't assume stuff here...
To answer your question:
Yes, you should consider switching over to @tails_live / @tails / #Tails which has all the good tools and @torproject pre-configured and built-in conveniently...
@kkarhan @tails_live @tails @torproject @cryptoparty @cryptoparty
Thanks for that info! I will def look into it and check out all your suggestions. :)
And no prob - I didn't take offense.
@ginaintheburg I suggest @tails_live / @tails / #Tail because it's preconfigured with ease of use in mind and avoids a ton of pitfalls for beginners who whant to use @torproject / #Tor.

Thank you for all that helpful information. π
@ginaintheburg np.
After all I think it's one's moral duty to show people the direction to look for resources.
Which is obviously not the case based off the questions asked.
@ginaintheburg as for #BonaFide #OnionService domains, @alecmuffett ΒΉ and I Β² each maintain lists of sites you can visit right now on #Tor.
