Good morning. ☕☕☕

21 September 2025

Oh golly. I typed today’s date thinking there was something notable about this month. September, right? That vague itch of significance. I started running through birthdays that might land here—and then it hit me. My wife's birthday is just days away. Frightening, really. I was 🤌this close to forgetting, which I’ve never done before.

Now I need to scramble. But it’s Sunday, and there’s very little I can do today. I’ll have to wait until tomorrow, assuming I don’t forget again. I need a card, a flower delivery, and... something else. I might just ask her what she wants. If I go with jewelry, then I’ll have to come up with something different for our anniversary. The stakes are stacking.

Anyway—Charlie and I just came in from mowing the lawn. It’s a weekly ritual, or maybe every other week depending on mood and weather. When we first went out, I was feeling energetic and ambitious. The air was nice, and surprisingly love bug free. If you’re not from around here, those little nuisances tend to swarm when it warms up.

But the temperature rose fast, and by the time I finished mowing, I was cooked. Ready to retreat indoors.

@Swede1952 The card you download a suitable picture and print, which is why you have some photo paper. These days I'm sure you can AI-generate the entire card 🤣

@TimWardCam

Yea, I've joked about sending and e-card. 😂👍
