Hello, messy desk! This is my intro post. Among other things, I like cats, nature, photos, languages, music, history, people watching, gardening, arty things, science, & typical geek things.

I'm originally from m.t., which shut down in late 2022. Happy to be here. ^_^

In the non-virtual world, I don't prefer they/them pronouns.
People pick pronouns for me all the time; they have for decades. *shrug*
People can't tell me apart from a 6' tall, Rubenesque, Nordic ice queen, or a 5' tall, skinny Latino, so people are comically bad at remembering what I look like anyway.
In a virtual world it doesn't matter a whole lot to me at this point. Woo!
