Disability Scoop
@DavidGoldfield That vanity with the built-in grab bar/ towel bar sounds nice. I'm a fan of grab bars. The cast iron tub in my house is old and has no traction so my master plumber friend introduced me to the mats one can put down for traction and insisted on putting in 2 grab bars for me one along the long wall of the tub and one on the wall where the faucet is for getting out. If it makes mme an old lady so be it. But now having had it I'd quite miss them if there aren't any wherever I go next.
@[email protected] @DavidGoldfield It is a belief of mine that grab bars belong everywhere, and are not just for older people. I really think that all new homes, apartment complexes and wherever else should be adding them by default. You never know when something like that could become a necessity.
@technolass @DavidGoldfield Yes and amen and it's so easy for anyone to slip at any moment.
