I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but migrating eSIM from old phone to new phone went catastrophically wrong đŸ˜‚ New phone now has no registered eSIMs and refuses to accept a transfer because 'that eSIM is already installed'

Ordering a new eSIM via my carrier to see if that works. Somehow a QR code costs €15, which is wild. Fortunately not this time

You can tell this stuff is held together behind the scenes with paperclips and string, despite smartphone makers putting a fancy UI on top of it

@stroughtonsmith Same thing happens here and I assume good intentions (lol) from all the SIM jacking stories…this would give you enough time to react and contact your carrier
