Queen of AnxietyBack at the #EmergencyRoom. J-tube fell out. We has begun weaning her off, but we weren’t ready for this stage yet.
The nurse inserted a foley tube right away. That indicates to me it was the right call to come now rather than wait til the morning. Of course now that the stopgap is in, it might take ‘em a while to get the official replacement in. We’ll see!
We had someone come by with what seemed to be a new tube. She left to see if they had the right kind of valve set-up to match our at-home equipment. That was over an hour ago. Maybe 2 now? I fell asleep. My neck now hurts. Think I’ll try going back to sleep.
New tube was inserted, and we got home before the sun fully rose. I got some sleep. Now to get up and try to do … anything.
