@andrewstroehlein In 1942, Ernst Lubitsch's film "to be or not to be" has a hilarious scene with Jack Benny as a ham Polish actor impersonating a German spy and Sig Ruman as Colonel Ehrhardt, the head of the Gestapo in Warsaw.

There's a running joke in which someone tells that joke about Hitler, someone thinks it is not funny, followed by "I hope you don't think I'm disloyal."

The 1942 version is IMHO much better than the Mel Brook's remake, and relevant today.
