@Ohsin Interesting! Looks like they're issuing warning only for the splash down points of the S200 boosters. I wonder if it's always like that.

@goku12 S200 boosters and payload fairing. We will get splashdown zone for L110 stage in NOTAMs issued by other agencies relevant to their airspace/SEZ later.

See this one for example of LVM3-M4 / Chandrayaan-3 launch.

The DZ4 (for L110 stage splashdown) was notified through NOTAM by Kuala Lumpur Flight Information Region.

@Ohsin Those FIR ATCs would have been notified already by ISRO. But this one is probably only a prelim NOTAM. The final NOTAM won't be for a month like this.

I was actually referring to the fact that only the splash down points are notified. DRDO OTOH, notifies the full flight corridor. That's needed if you're doing a test where the risks of a failure are not fully understood.

@goku12 Yes we only get splashdown zones in these launch NOTAMs. For PSLV launches though for example the PS3 splashdown zone is quite big and stretched due to uncertainties as you put it.

And yes ISRO shares information but we only get whole information over few days/weeks in multiple NOTAMs for different FIRs. The final NOTAM is issued 24 hrs in advance which only refers back to these previous NOTAMs and doesn't contain information on hazard zones.

@goku12 DRDO can give separate splashdown zones depending on test.
