"A record supply load won’t reach the International Space Station as scheduled" by @arstechnica / Stephen Clark - Early shutoff of the #CygnusXL main rocket engine got into a stable orbit but prevented entering a rendezvous trajectory to #ISS. No new status yet. If it can't reach ISS, all its cargo will be lost, including experiments & spare parts. Also fresh food for the astronauts. But they have other food in storage and won't starve. https://arstechnica.com/space/2025/09/a-record-supply-load-wont-reach-the-international-space-station-as-scheduled/ #NorthropGrumman #NASA #space

The problem arose early Tuesday when the spacecraft’s main engine shut down earlier than expected.

"Northrop Grumman cargo ship reaches space Station" by SpaceFlightNow - After uploading a software fix, #CygnusXL's rocket engine turned out to be fine. It reached the space station where astronauts captured it with the Canadarm2 robot arm. Capture is the normal procedure for cargo ships built to use the Common Berthing Mechanism, which does not support automatic propulsive docking. https://spaceflightnow.com/2025/09/18/northrop-grumman-cargo-ship-reaches-space-station/ #NorthropGrumman #NASA #space
