Wait, wait, wait. Didn't Fox News use exactly that defense regarding Tucker Carlson? I don't recall the Center for American Rights bitching about it then.
Also, I think satire and late-night comedy is absolutely a defense. Tucker was engaged in neither of those, even if Fox News did claim it was entertainment and not news.

Never thought i would see even a superpower turning into a fascist state in my lifetime.
The scarier part is how much control the #clubofoligarchs has globally, by military power, digital infrastructure, media and in many more ways.
It is very sad to see how german media and politicians are drawing a false, distorted picture of all this rather in favour than telling the truth and acting in the interests of the people.

Yes, this is scary, especially when we see Musk publicly calling for the overthrow of the elected UK govt, with impunity & no consequences; and an Australian journalist publicly berated & threatened for asking a question (as jounos do) - as if Thump rules the world… which it increasingly feels as if he does, there is so much toadying & kowtowing. 🙁
