The educational system has been eroded continuously over the years, and left leaning politicians with short term mandates did not have the incentive to fix it after their right leaning colleagues damaged it for immediate profit.
Over the years, this has rendered the educational system powerless. Teachers have been turned into depressed, hopeless, bitter human punching bags for kids, expected to keep them in check too.
@NickSchwanck @MattBinder what you are witnessing now is merely the medium term consequence of those choices and actions.
The long term one isn't better.
A lot of us will have to die, one way or another, before it gets better.
