Fun fact I learned recently. You know how our normal digits 0123456789 are often referred to as "Arabic Numerals". Turns out much of the Arabic speaking world don't use these. More specifically, our digits are Western Arabic Numerals, and used in the western part of the Arabic world, i.e. west of Egypt. But from Egypt to the east, including the Arabian Peninsula, they primarily use Eastern Arabic Numerals, which look like this:
