I keep having conversations in the pub about LLMs being a threat to software engineers.

I've come to the conclusion that it's like infantry and tanks. Sure when tanks first arrived it looked like they would be the end of infantry. Obviously for many souls that's exactly what they were.

Looking at the modern battlefield though we see infantry being more important than ever.
