on YouTube: 68 year old caucasian male (American) marries a 22 year old (Filipino) female who just graduated from college

Girl is educated, attractive but prefers older (than her father) men. I get types and preferences, but i wonder what her father thought of that?

Also wonder why a guy (that old) wants to be with someone so young. If it were reversed like the lady was 68 and man was 22, would it still be acceptable? Leo di Caprio vibes 🤢

@Crissy

I understand having a daddy kink, but, you know, not all fantasies should be realized literally. And getting married is quite a commitment.

Personally I follow the "half your age plus seven" principle. I remember back when I was first going out to bars my guy friends and I would say "if she doesn't remember 9/11, she's too young for you, bro" but now people born in 2001 are 24, soooo

@WIREID91LDNON good perspective, didn’t think about it as a daddy kink!

based on the interview i saw, it seems like a legit marriage. They said there’s no age in love meaning love is blind.

The man has been married to a Colombian, now divorced but the words he used like “I didn’t wanna date older women coz they have baggage or bitter” sounds like he was looking for someone to groom.

The girl hasn’t had a boyfriend before…

@WIREID91LDNON (continued) she’s mentally mature for her age!

In 5years the husband might die. Filipinos have a nasty saying about golddiggers. They look for MMMM (matandang mayaman, madaling mamatay) which translates to (old rich guy, dies easily). Not saying she’s a gold digger but maybe she is being motivated by MMMM for family reasons?

thinking out loud when i found out Charlie Chaplin married lots younger girls (thread)

My father Charlie Chaplin and his very young wives: Son insists the actor 'fell in love' with his teenage brides and 'wasn't forcing them to have sex' - despite impregnating a 15-year-old when he was 35

Michael, 77, who resides in south-west France, and is the second child and eldest son from Charlie Chaplin's fourth marriage to Oona O'Neill, spoke to The Guardian in a candid interview.

@Crissy

As much as I love Chaplin's movies, Hollywood sadly hasn't changed much. #killyouridols

@Crissy

Ah, yes! Chaplin did have several relationships with much younger women, even fell afoul of the Mann Act once. And unknowingly inspired novelist J. D. Salinger when he "hooked up" with Oona O'Neil
