Hey @protonprivacy it would be nice if you could update your website. Given that both of us fight for #privacy and #opensource, we must not use the same marketing tactics like Big Techs do.

Unfortunately #Proton chose to leave Mastodon since they got more pushback here than on other platforms whenever they stepped outside of the image they portrayed. Thus they sadly won't see your apt post.

(I'm still a Proton Visionary customer though, but even as such they didn't want to admit to why they left the Fediverse)

@Tutanota @troed @protonprivacy After this incident, there's probably no answer left. Perhaps it's a good thing Proton left the Fediverse. While all opinions and software are allowed here, there are rules. One of them is being honest.
