Acknowledged that in his decades of ministry, he'd never done HCD, nearly lurched into a history lesson from his hasty research (which, any theology undergrad would have known) but saved it by linking into reflections from Chrysostom on the cross. What really elevated it was that he presided brilliantly, liturgy as it should be, the living work of the people of God, springing from the word to celebrate the Word.
