What’s the difference between left and right? As far as I see it, the right are organised and have a plan.
That plan involves, over a long period of time, gaining power and maintaining it by implementing structural changes.
It cares little for:
- moral purity
- being right
- being nice
- being fair
- being consistent
- doing good things to make life better for anyone.
It’s a straightforward power play.
Unless the more progressive people play on the same board as the reactionary set, we’ll lose.
