@RobeeShepherd I think it really depends on expectations and how you sit with the original.
If you want to see a pure thing made with love by wonderful people full of poignancy and silly jokes and great music, there you are. It's slight, and gentle, and warm and funny.
If you want a deliriously non-stop genre busting comedy with an insane gag ratio to match the original, absolutely not, this is some old guys doing a victory lap.
Although I liked that the "plot" is basically "old guys get the band back together for one last cash grab" and that is also the meta text.
