Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday!
Yes. Super Mario Bros (pictured) came out in 1985.
That was 40 years ago.
You want a ripoff?! The 25th Wii game! It was straight up a SNES rom of All-Stars (and not even the revision that included Mario World) 😅
That’s just how bad Nintendo is at porting their own games! There’s constant FPS dips, and the input lag is so bad that you can literally see the delay without needing any equipment to measure it. It’s so bad in Mario 64 that it renders the game unplayable, leaving you with two games can actually be played (but just barely so).
I much rather play these games in an emulator. At least they’ll run properly.
Interesting. I didn't have any delay with my 8bitdo. Thanks for the info.
I know the Zelda emulation they used was horrible.
The collection was fine. There are speed runners who weren’t happy about the version of Mario 64 that they chose to use because you can’t do backwards long jump.
I think most of the hate is due to that. Also the lack of Galaxy 2 was questionable.
Even worse is that they just announced that they’re releasing a Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 collection (and it’s $70 on the eShop).
So if you got 3D All Stars, you only got Galaxy 1, and if you want to play 2 on a modern system (without emulation), then you need to buy 1 again.
I was gonna nitpick a bunch of stuff about this post, but then I realized it’s not worth the energy.
Only typing this so hopefully someone else reads it and comes to the same conclusion about something else.
Couldn’t agree more
Good thing we have 40 years of history to play through instead of giving them new money 😁
Happy 40th Mario! Birthday Bros. Entertainment!
Someone definitely got a stroke making this.
Happy birthday
… and now you’re getting sued due to unauthorized use of game assets…
