I was shopping at the local grocery store, which is small and locally-owned, but that carries lots of healthy options, including local produce and a small organic section. The lack of pretension there makes me comfortable shopping in my pajamas and wearing my mask (several of the employees always wear masks). I froze in my tracks when this song came on the piped music. Not sure how I feel about #WorldParty being part of the piped music industry, but on the other hand, it pleased me to hear this song at the store...

@DoomsdaysCW You could wear pajama pants, fuzzy slippers & a mask at a small local store here. Problem is that almost no one masks, not even doctors & clinic staff. The dental staff does, just when close.

If I ever get to actually retire "home", I'm going to want to know where this cool store is.
(I'm guessing it's not the one my cousin runs, but I could be surprised.

@n1vux @DoomsdaysCW We are going INTO the war. Focussing on what you plan to do when the war is over is probably good for morale and quite common, but it can also be like looking downfield before getting the football caught and solidly tucked away.

First we must survive the conflict. For some of us myself included victory or at least a stalemate is an absolute precondition of survival as we are fighting an enemy with declared exterminationist goals. Just living to see the end of this mess would be nice.

There is a lot of "hurry up and wait" in any conflict. It is in these moments that you cn let your mind wander to better times. When the waiting is over and you are in it though, you will probably find your mind going on autopilot. This is why it is so important to train as you intend to fight. You will also find that in the REALLY intense stuff , time slows down.

@DoomsdaysCW some employees at our local health food store also wear masks in a very chilled out fashion.
