They have someone in custody for the Kirk murder. Based on initial descriptions, he doesn’t match the radical leftist that MAGA was quick to assume he was. Yesterday we were also flooded with disinformation about the shooter, and I want to address that today. Write-up in the replies.

@spacebarbarian @jaykuo The only problem with that (and yes, I'm a dyed-in-the-wool-leftie) is that the bullets were engraved with a couple of statements. ps: one was engraved with "if you are reading this, you are gay" which tends to make me think he's a right-winger-white-power-male-alpha-asshole!
